"Have had several run ins with these selfish trash ignorant drivers .exsp truck 2121 who likes to park in front of legaly parked drivers and block them in .this driver is trash and ever phone number posted to contact this company is either disconnected or no answer"
"In September of 2021 I received an email telling me i earned a bonus based on loyalty time starting at btc. At the end of October hornedy fired me and when I asked about the bonus they said that I didn't meet the criteria so that they would not pay it out. I tried to speak to a couple supervisors over the people that told me no until I got a voicemail and no return phone calls. The next day I told my attorney who wrote a letter and as soon as they got that letter the very next pay cycle the money for the bonus was deposited into my account. Had it not been for my attorney they would have stiffed me over $1500"
"This review is from a BTC/Hornady drivers wife. I can not even say Hornady alone. This is the most unfriendly, uncaring, dishonest company I have came across! Want to just be a driver and not a person with a life or family??? Then this company is the right one! Hornady bought out BTC where my husband worked for them for 3.5 years with no issues. His dispatcher knew my husband’s voice. During the buyout, Karlie (worse dispatcher ever)and said pay was the same, he would continue getting home every weekend like had been for 2 years. And communication was very important to her. Pay is not the same, tarp is lower. Oh let me tell you about getting home on the weekends. He was already scheduled for vacation before the buyout. He was suppose to be home on Friday to start his vacation. We booked flight for our family of 5 to visit family in St Louis. Needless to say, the kids and I flew alone. He didn’t arrive till Saturday late afternoon (flight left early Saturday). He had to stay until Monday to meet another driver to take his loaded trailer. Had to rent a car for him to drive to meet us. Any sorrys......NOPE! Any offer to help with the extra expenses.....NOPE! Our old dispatcher Angel, would have NEVER even allowed the situation to have gotten to the point of him missing the flight. She would also call during his vacation just say Hi. Communication is a joke! He set 1 day for 14 hours because the shipper required an appointment which Hornady didn’t make. He sits for hours between loads, is asked (harshly) to make delivery times that are not obtainable and if he doesn’t he gets a tone from this Karlie. I have never seen my husband so frustrated, unhappy, and down (14 years of military between us) with the way he’s been treated. I pray he chooses to join the other over 200 employees that have quit in less than 30 days! Way to go Hornady! Great job!"
"19 years at company. Was excellent first 10 years or so. Then went downhill. They have favorite drivers who get the miles and trucks turned up. If you not a brown nose do not go here. No freight. Tarp 90% of loads. No respect for drivers. Dispatch will try and bully you."
"Coming through my town was a big mistake for one of your drivers, he damaged property, breaking a cone and many more. Also damaging the sidewalk. Please be more careful and listen to the many signs that say "NO TRUCKS" on your way through Northumberland."
