Cori Ray

Cori Ray is a health institution located at 1025 Montgomery Highway in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, United States. Cori Ray is a nationally certified Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She holds a Master’s in Counseling and a bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Cori Ray combines insight, empathy, and clinical training to help individuals heal from past hurts, navigate current life issues, and achieve the life they desire. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities, including trauma recovery, crisis management, anxiety, depression, self-harm, anger management, life transitions, grief, and abuse recovery. Cori is certified in Microcurrent Neurofeedback and uses Life Span Integration as part of her therapeutic toolkit.

In addition to private counseling, Cori has taught suicide prevention for ten years in local high schools and served as a board member for Rescue Our Children. She continues to teach in various settings related to mental health.

Cori Ray's approach is inspired by the quote, “He lifted me up out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” In her free time, Cori enjoys relaxing with a good book, going on long walks with her dog, Gracie, and spending time with her family and friends.
