"This is a nice hotel! It has a gym, and is located amongst many good restaurants and stores. I'm training in Mt Vernon, which is about 15 miles from here. I didn't want to stay there because it is a small town. This hotel is on the very edge of Evansville, so I get the convenience of a city with a short drive to the small town."

"I have stayed at the Marriot twice now. Both times the service and accommodation were excellent. Of particular note was my last stay on 2/24. Marcenie was working check in when I arrived. She was courteous and very welcoming and quickly handled my check in. She also managed a last minute room change with grace and humor and made sure to check in again to see that all was well. She is an example of excellence in service and kindness."

"Place is a joke I paid for a room with 2 beds. They gave my room away and told me that my new room has a pull out couch. I said that was fine if I could get a discount she she no problem. Then at check out they would not honor it. Told them I can’t believe they do business like this they said well we do"

"I don’t often stay at this brand but, after this weekend‘s experience, I will keep an eye out for them in the future. Very comfortable beds and room, though we wished there was a mirror outside the bathroom so more than one person could get ready at a time. Hands-down the BEST complimentary breakfast I’ve had pre-or post-Covid! Plus the sweet ladies keeping it all clean/stocked were a hoot… it was like breakfast and a show. It might be abit much for those that like quiet mornings but I found them delightful."

"The hotel was great. Clean, friendly staff, free Netflix, free Showtime, pool, great breakfast, etc. The only downside we noticed was that they tried to double charge our card. We caught it, but the next day, they again tried to charge it. We had already paid at check-in. We also left the room almost as clean as we found it minis a little trash in the trash bin, so we do not know why they tried to charge us double. They apologized, but it happened again the next day."
