"This company is despicable. My wife is pregnant and was prescribed a medication for asthma which has been demonstrated to be the safest medication during pregnancy. The alternatives given by the company are noted by the FDA to be less safe. Her pulmonologist agreed as well. Despite all the evidence, this company still decided to deny the medication with no explanation whatsoever. We fought this and lost. This company and its employed physicians have shown zero accountability for the well being of their patients. I would never recommend this to anyone. I am still in disbelief that they would risk the health of my wife or baby to save themselves money."
"I wish I could give 0 stars. Terrible company to try and work with. PA process is a joke. My provider has submitted documents to them many times only to be denied for medication that I need, that they had approved only 2 months ago! Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews given by employees, look for the 1 star reviews given by actual customers and do the math for yourself. I'll be switching to my spouses insurance ASAP. EDIT 1/2/24: I will change my review to two stars, only because my medications were approved, after much frustration and stress to me and my healthcare providers. Streamline your process please."
"I was denied authorization to a specialty drug that keeps me alive. This company had the need test results and still refused my doctor a peer to peer review. I clearly qualified. They did everything they could to drag it out until the end of the year when I changed insurance companies. They are the worst!"
"I have never in my life delt with anything like this. They have control over where you fill your medication at after you pay all this money each month for insurance!!!!! And I am being forced to swap pharmacies I finally find one with my medicine and the insurance company has my prescription locked to a certain pharmacy. HOW!!! Y'all aren't a doctor and I pay you. I refuse to go through this again! I will be contacting my HR through my employer about this"
"Pleasantly surprised with how this provider handles its customer's concerns and requests. RxBenefits was difficult to work with initially while trying to figure out some issues I was having refilling medication for a chronic illness that changed where and how I was allowed to refill my prescriptions under my plan. After escalating the issue, they ended up working with me to find a solution that helped me out a lot, without being required to at all. My first couple of calls into the help desk were frustrating. I was very upset after being blatantly lied to on one of the calls (very embarrassing for me, and I could have handled it a lot better), while trying to find a representative that I could have a basic, non-scripted discussion with. However, I eventually talked with Shauna on the Accounts Management team, who was very calm and helpful, was willing to talk to me after how upset I was during the original calls, and was willing to help me with my benefits issues. I am thankful that the company ended up working with me on something they could have just said "No" to and walked away from (while losing me as a customer), and I appreciate their willingness to work with me given my personal situation. They have completely changed my original opinion of their company, and the level of care that they have for their customers."
