"The park is wonderful! It's a great place to ride your horse or walk your dog. Trails are well maintained, and even on rainy days, you can check out the indoor nature and history exhibits. The only downside is when other park visitors think the rules don't apply to them (like keeping their dogs on a leash), but that isn't the park's fault."
"I've been frequenting this trail quite a lot. Isolated feel, multiple trail paths and directions, very dog friendly. I have barely scratched the surface of what other recreational activities there are though! Would be interested in taking the trail on horseback :)"
"Great little Homeschool Field trip! We watched some educational type YouTube videos and when we saw things in person we had just talked about for school it was exciting! The tour guide Wes (I believe) was wonderful and so sweet with the kids."
"This is a great park if you're looking to get away from the city and some of the busier trails. We walked about 2 miles of the trail and only saw a few other people which was nice. There's a good portion of the trail that's shaded which is great for summer. The little boardwalk area at the back of the trail is a cool little place to check out. I do wish there was easier access to the river on the main loop trail. The Native American homes are another cool area to check out and learn a bit about local history."
"What a cool park! The part we went to had a nature center that had so many neat artifacts, animal specimens, and other things like nests and minerals. Our girls loved exploring. There were also some simple art projects. The archiological sure was really interesting and unique. While we were there the wild flowers were abundant and we saw a lot of birds and butterflies along the path. Very nice park for families."
