"$20 bucks a head to get in equates to $5 figures in income for the weekend. For what they are charging, I would expect ample parking. Their plan is grass parking. Working scoreboards would have been nice. There were two large grassy areas by the playground and concession stand that were cordoned off with a single strand of yellow plastic ribbon and signs saying to stay off. I was concerned that perhaps they treated the grass with something like fertilizer or pesticide that required to keep kids or pets off of them. If so, then they could have blocked off the area with multiple rows of tape or an acceptable physical barrier to keep people out. Minimal effort was made. Younger people did not read the signs and were playing in the areas. They had a covered play area with a very nice play activity unit. The flooring was a rubberized material that would absorb falls. Walls surrounded this area making it easier to keep track of children. Unfortunately the flooring material did not run all the way to the wall making for a drop-off that could be a tripping hazard. The ball fields were decently maintained, except for the scoreboards on fields 1 and 2 which only worked correctly 1 time that I observed. The fields and surrounding areas were very dusty. More than I have noticed at fields in other venues. The concession stand had a good menu with lots of options, including burgers and hot dogs. One suggestion would be to include frozen freeze type ice squeezers or similar. Heard lots of people saying they wished they were available. The most disappointing event was a U8 (I think) game on Field 4. We were watching the game waiting for our teams game to be held after this one. The issue was with one teams coaching staff and a huge lapse in control from the umpire. One of the coaches became enraged with the umpire. She got right in his face and I believe physically touched the umpire as others around me also thought. I expected she would be ejected but nothing happened. This occured more than once between her and the umpire then she got into a verbal argument with one of the other coaches on her team who was trying to calm her. She came from third base coaching area to first base coaching area to make the confrontation. She then went back to third base and proceeded to get into a verbal altercation with her teams fans. She left for a while and I thought the ump tossed her, but then she came back a reengaged with her terrible behavior. The umpire did nothing. She finished off by berating one of her players who made an error covering 3rd base. The child was sobbing. After the inning the coach was screaming at the child to quit crying. Ump just waited it out. There was a guy up in the wood platform observing. If he was a park official I would think he should have intervened. To make matters worse the game went into extra innings. It became like watching Ground Hog Day. Inning after inning with no result. Our team finally played on a different field around 9 p.m. they played their first game around 8 am. I would recommend some training for the umpires to help them manage conflicts. I heard one of the other umpires warn someone that they could be ejected for excessive arguing of the calls. Made for a bad experience for the kids and parents alike. It would be advisable to have some sort of park official to monitor the games. I would not be able to recommend this venue to anyone for a tournament after witnessing how out of hand the one game was allowed to get. It's a shame because the facilities outside of what has been noted are decent."
"We had a tournament here, the diamonds were nice and everything was in one area. Anyone who travels to these tournaments knows that is a BIG deal. The only problem we had was the warm up areas were scarce."
"This complex has a very nice covered playground area. Nice restrooms, nice concession stand. They also have some of THE BEST UMPIRES EVER!!"
"Such a great place and well maintained facility in this area. It’s so good to see community people coming together and playing sports. I have played several cricket tournaments here and this year organizing our cricket tournament which is going to be an exciting day of cricket games."
"We were there for a softball tournament. The fields are well maintained, plenty of room for warm-up and social activities. Only ding is parking can be a hassle when there are a lot of teams there."
