Reviews of Valley Psychiatric Associates
"I've been seeing Dr. Webb for the past four years, and can happily say that this is the most stable I have felt, and the most satisfied I have been with my medication, than I have ever been since beginning my treatment of my mental health. It has been a long journey, and I am extremely thankful for her dedication and assistance. Looking forward to the future, thank you Dr Webb."
"Nurse Practitioner Elizabeth Webb is hands down the most helpful and insightful practitioner my significant other and I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She’s always ready to help, concerned with how the medications you are on are effecting you day-to-day, and so personable and friendly. She’s incredibly down to earth, which makes talking to her about things that may be embarrassing or difficult to confront easier to do so. Highly recommend seeking her out! Jane Baker has always been welcoming, accessible, and a concerned therapist to me. She has immense compassion but also made me confront difficult issues and take accountability for a variety of trauma and the responses I had to it. She goes out of her way to make sure that if you need her; she’s there. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, but never speaks down to you and always makes sure that you understand any concepts that may be foreign to you if you are not as knowledgeable in trauma and it’s effects. Overall, these two women have helped me make an immense turn around in life and have so much of my trust, respect, and admiration! Only thing lacking is that there has been crossed wires with notification of appointments. Luckily, they’ve mostly switched over to text reminders (which is amazing!) but I have missed a few appointments with no voicemails left. That being said, I know it’s my responsibility to keep on track with my own appointments. Also, many of the front desk employees are incredibly understanding and nice, but every so often there will be an encounter that just rubs myself and others the wrong way. It can be difficult dealing with the front desk about insurance and getting them to follow through with pushing for prescriptions as well. But we all have bad days, and more often than not, I have been met with friendliness and any accommodation necessary!"
"I was extremely apprehensive about going, it’s never comfortable to speak of the mental mind. I love going to Valley and seeing Dr. Webb. They make you feel like you are coming to see a friend. Dr. Elizabeth Webb is one of the most amazing woman. She doesn’t rush you, she actually ask how things are going and she remembers the small details. If you are looking for someone and an office that cares, this is the one!"
"I never leave reviews, but I’m frustrated with the treatment I received here. Staff was unwilling to accommodate my request of seeing a therapist with a different religious background than my own. Met me with red tape with everything I asked. It’s sad because I did meet a nice therapist there, but she just wasn’t the right fit for me. I was willing to try another, but office staff seemed unwilling to help me. I was told the following: * I would have to meet with the therapist to discuss things with transferring to a new one..? So not only do I have to pay for another session, but I have to defend my right as a patient to different care? I told the office staff that that would be awkward, and they just reiterated the same thing. *They also said it was up to my previous therapist if I could transfer to a new one. That’s simply untrue. * I’m not allowed to request a therapist with a different religious background. Why am I allowed to go to online therapy websites and request similarly religious or non-religious therapists? Why was my therapist able to tell me they came from a religious background? I’m sure there are many wonderful therapists here. The therapist I had was very nice — I want to reiterate that. She was just not a fit for me. I reiterated that to office staff. I’m confused because I was polite, non combative, and she still refused to even try to get more information (she even said she didn’t know the protocol, but didn’t try to find out the information for me). She just seemed eager to get me off the phone. Due to this experience, I won’t be coming back. I’m disappointed as a patient and as a person. I deserve more as a patient and a person. Other people coming to this facility deserve more than that."
"Elizabeth Webb cares for me and my daughters and we absolutely love her! She is very thorough and kind and we never feel judged by her for any of the issues we discuss. We had been to several other clinics before finding her but never got the type of care and compassion that we get from Mrs. Webb! I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!"
