"My husband was never out of his medication. We were so pleased with the pharmacy. They would call and ask if we needed anything and how many bags 0f medication was on hand to determine how many more they would make and be delivered. I truly would recognize them to friends and family."
"I am a registered nurse caring for my physically challenged daughter. Three issues to consider. First, our physician contacted Option Care for a monthly infusion. The office told me there would be a $140 copay for the infusion. We received a electronics statement a few days post infusion for nearly $500. I called the number on the email and spoke to an offshore representative in India. He was of no help resolving the issue. Ultimately, I contacted the Mobile Clinic . This representative contacted two supervisors to resolve the issue. Approximately 12 days later an individual contacted me and indicated their billing was incorrect and accepted $140 co-pay. Secondly, on the day of infusion we ask the nurse to send a copy of the treatment sheet to the ordering physician or to give us a copy and we would forward to his attention. She was unable to print the treatment sheet that day. This should be standard operating procedure. The ordering physician requested the treatment sheet without response. After 14 days and several attempts I was able to contact an individual who faxed 40 pages of information to the physician. Our request was for possibly five pages. Finally, the physical plant in which clinical care is given is less than acceptable. Ceiling tiles are broken, carpet is stained, and our infusion was started in the waiting room before being moved to the single treatment room once available. As an RN I would recommend another location and infusion service. Response to corporate request: No need to follow -up. I'll work with ACCREDO in the future. Jh"
"They do an excellent service in providing health care for my sister. I would not want to get her antibiotics from any other company. God Bless Option and their staff!"
"I have tricare insurance and option care refuses to bill correctly which results in me getting a huge bill. Once filed correctly everything is covered. This has been on going for months. It’s a battle every month, but this month option care has been extremely rude and unwilling to file correctly. To the point that I cancel all medications and will go to the hospital for everything from this point forward. A hospital admission is easier than deal with anyone in option care billing department."
"My spouse has stage 4 bone cancer she got out of Bay hospital located in Florida Panama City. September 9th 2021. The Option Care called us on Friday 9/10/2021 said they would deliver her some food supplies but it would be late on Friday since they would be driving from Mobile Alabama to Alford Florida . Alford is where we live. The company told my wife not to worry they knew she needed food and their driver would be there tonight meaning Friday night and we would get the remaining supplies on Tuesday September 14th. My wife and I sat up that night Friday 10th stayed up until 1am Saturday morning until we had to go to bed couldn't stay up any longer. These folks didn't call us or anything about a delay in the shipment. On Saturday morning about 8 :30am Thomas Miller called and said he was on his way with the feeding supplies. I asked him why he didn't come Friday like his company promised. I said my wife is upset and feels let down not only fron Option Care but from the time she got the feeding tube put inside her stomach at Bay Medical. Mr. Miller said, he understood and they had to switch drivers and he was notified to come and would be there in about 3 hours. He did come as he said. Thank you Thomas Miller . I hope this company appreciate you! Now get this on Tuesday 14th we received a phone call from this company a woman said they wouldn't be able to deliver the remaining supplies until Wednesday September 15th. My wife told her she has a doctor's appointment Wednesday and no one would be there to accept the supplies. The woman told my wife it want matter UPS would be bringing them and they'll just drop them off and leave them. My wife told her how we waited up Friday into early Saturday morning for the supplies. This woman told my wife well, do you want the remaining supplies or not? My wife said yes I do I already paid you a hundred dollars so I want the supplies. End note. Does any one else deliver feeding supplies for cancer patients. This woman was very unprofessional in her conduct over the phone and she represents a company that is most likely the same. Show me the money! That's all that matters."
