"No with this company and they have a huge turnover rate and here's why. I simply asked for over 2000 miles or more per week, (preferably 2500). My average was 1900 after they told me their drivers averaged 2300. I was willing to run all over. After confronting them that 1900 miles wasn't enough, there was no change. My last few weeks with them, I made just over 1,000 miles because they ran me back and forth to Georgia all week and all they have is broker loads. So for those that love to sit at the docks all day, this company is for you. I was told I'd be starting at a rate of .47 cents per mile which is good. But a week or so later I find out that I'm only paid .45 cents per mile. My last check was 139.00 after being out for 4 days. They paid me for 25 hours of work, times that by 7.25 (which is minimum wage) and when I asked them why my check was so low, they said that it's the lowest they're required to pay by law.. They said It was either that, or I could have made what they owe me and they would charge me for the following..They will charge you 110.00 if you quit within 90 days, they charge 150.00 if you don't get on your hands and knees and clean the truck to their likeliness (I get paid to drive not detail trucks). They charge 500.00 if you are dispatched on a load and you quit... (it doesn't matter if you don't even have a load on the trailer) How can someone quit under a load if you haven't even picked up a load yet?? Makes no sense whatsoever.. They dispatched me a load picking up from Tuscumbia,AL going BACK to Georgia where I just came from but before I picked the load up, I just decided I had had enough.. I just took their equipment back to them at their request. They dont let you sleep in the trucks on the weekends while your at home. So if you lose your apartment or house like I did with this company, your SOL because the owner gets mad if you sleep in the truck. Personally they're good people to be friends with and have on your side, but buisiness wise, they don't have what it takes to keep drivers. (In case they're reading this) if you want to keep drivers, stop scamming them with ridiculous fees and pay them what you owe them. Be the bigger man. Gain customer's and make deals with distributors and logistics companies because constant broker loads will screw you and the driver on time and money. Sitting at the dock for 6 hours every other day is no way to make money. Some brokers are ok, others you gotta walk away from. But it's best to have customers on a contract like Walmart, home depot, dollar general, bigger corporations. If they want people to detail their trucks they need to invest in a shop. What pisses me off is one time and only one time with this company I made 27 to 2800 miles in one week, and for some reason my bring home was only $680 It might have been $700, I don't really remember any more. Even at 45 cents a mile something don't add up.."
