"I have called these people for the last 2 years for a Christmas ham and last year they never called me to let me know it was ready and this year I called last week said they would be ready this week and when I called today they informed me that it wouldn't be ready for 2 weeks, I'm sorry but 2 weeks would be the 26th, I will not be giving them any more of my business"

"My husband received prices when making butcher date. And put in notes on calender on phone. Not once was told about any changes until after butchered and he questioned price. 15 cents is a lot of money per pound. When I questioned price an employee pointed to a sign behind a window way up high about the change in price. My husband normally deals with this situation but his just had surgery. I went in to read note, to send text to others that had their cows butchered in our group and while I was sending message a big man stood in front of me with arms crossed. I'm assuming owner. He asked If I had a problem and I just said that the price quoted was way different than price we had to pay. He came off very aggressive and started explained of prices of gas and giving employees raises. I said that's fine but we didn't expect it and if we were told we may have waited for the back up of going somewhere else. I also had to say twice Iam not here to have any fight about it. I felt very attacked. What upset me more,was how I was treated not the change in price, after it was said and done. We will never go back."

"I had a whole hog processed in November. There are a lot of blood clots on the pork chops and in the ground meat. I made brats on the stove yesterday and there was an inch of grease left in the pan. It seems like the meat was not trimmed of fat properly. When I called they said the pig was probably too fat and sometimes clotting just happens. Never in my life have I had meat that had blood clots in it. And if the hog was overly fat it could have been trimmed off. They just gave me the run around. Do not recommend going here."

"I am a supporter of local businesses. I am giving a two star view because I’ve called looking for soup bone for the broth I was making. The lady that answered was very short and had no idea what a soup bone was. I figured she was having a bad day. Called today looking for beef ribs. Same lady answered stated they didn’t have any. I asked to place an order for beef ribs. The lady responded “you can but I dont know when they will be in”. She hung up. She is not helpful or resourceful."
