"I work for a construction company. I called to get some pricing for a house that we are working to bid on. I had called 2 other companies to ask if they would price our project. One told me it would take 6 weeks to get a price back, and the other told me they weren't taking projects as large as ours. So I called Bender. And the man I spoke to was incredibly rude. He asked why I called, and I explained what had happened and that I was looking for pricing. He refused to give me a price because I had called another company. After I informed him that the other company I called was going to take 6 weeks to get me a price, and that I was more than willing to go with his company if we were to get this job, he still refused to give me a price because I didn't call his company first. Calling asking for pricing is a very regular occurrence in this field. The unprofessionalism was appalling to me. We will NEVER be calling Bender Lumber again for any projects."
