"1101 Canal is the WORST Whole Foods I have shopped. I was in the self checkout and needed help on 01/02/24 around 7:30 PM. I asked the man working there for help twice. He just pointed and could clearly see I still didn't have the answer I was looking for but he couldn't be bothered to come to assist me. I then had to gather my items and find another means to checkout, wasting more time I didn't have that day. A man like this should NOT be in a position to help the public, or employed with an attitude like that. Whole Foods, Do Better! If you want to retain customers be customer service oriented. Of all of the best food places out there you were my top and now you are a 0 star. I will not shop any of your locations anymore. Sincerely, A once lifelong customer."

"IT'S SOME KINDA MAGIC IN THE HONEY ROASTED NUT GRINDER MACHINE!!! For all those Peanut Butter Lovers, this is real love, found in the Honey Roasted Peanuts, grounded to perfection... I enjoy snacking on the Whole Foods Honey Roasted Personally grounded peanut butter with pretzels, wheat crackers, cheese curls, soft bread..., or on a spoon. I will travel for miles, and that's exactly what I did and arrived at the Whole Foods on Roosevelt & Canal in Chicago. However, I was horrified to see the machine 'Empty' I inquired of a nearby employee, who made a quick call and Ulises came to the Rescue!! Ulises was Super Friendly, he checked in their Stockroom and Appeared with a Box Full of The Honey Roasted Peanuts!! In my mind it was as he floated on a magic carpet, delivering the delicious Honey Roasted Peanuts :D Ulises made my smile even brighter, I had to take a photo of my Whole Foods Hero Ulises, for the friendly, specialized service!!"

"always thought the staff is super friendly here. always very attentive at the self checkout. lines are never super long. feel bad that the workers have to deal with snooty people. don't be snooty, people. look for deals in the magazines of you think prices are too high. their meat prices are high for a reason. you can guarantee what you buy here holds up to a standard that Mariano's or Jewel does not have. There's a reason you wont find cheap bread with 50+ preservatives inside of it at Whole Foods."
