Reviews
"Publix pharmacy staff are always courteous, professional, and always striving to help. I just wish they had a drive through. Sometimes you need to fill prescription w/o going in store when feeling ill."
"If any issues arise or if you have any questions - expect to be treated poorly or like you’re an idiot. Worst Publix pharmacy experience l've ever had. The staff is extremely rude and has been on multiple occasions. I had my family scheduled for flu vaccines and when we walked in they told us "yeah it's actually by appointment only". Didn't even bother asking if we had appointments. Most of the staff working in the pharmacy seem to hate their jobs. I was also charged $64 when we finally did get the flu vaccine. They ran my husband and daughters insurance through but decided not to run mine. Had to go back in and ask for a refund. The app information is never correct. I'm reported back to of my medication "no longer being available" but then call the pharmacy to find out that they don't know why it says that because they got a shipment in recently? Also, they randomly stopped using a GoodRx coupon that they've been using for the past 8 months and are now charging me almost $15 more for a current prescription I have. I prepaid for a prescription to be picked up and we had a sudden death in the family at some point so I was unable to pick up the prescription for which I was “scolded” for by one of the employees. I called to find out if I could still pick up the prescription after a month considering I had already paid. Verbiage used was “if you prepay for a prescription you really need to make sure you come and pick it up, we’re not going to leave it out on the shelf for you for an entire month. If A charge went through on your card you need to call your bank and handle it with them because it was fraudulent charge.” So completely ignored the fact that I had evidence of the charge going through and basically treated me as if I was lying. Just overall not a great experience. (Keep in mind, these aren’t serious medications like opioids. These are literally antidepressants and prenatals and this is what I’m facing.) the rudeness is just unbelievable I’m giving birth in a few days and will absolutely be switching my pharmacy beforehand. Can’t imagine trying to recover from something so major and fighting with the pharmacy if something goes wrong. I don’t even write reviews but this has been an ongoing thing for months now. I’m over it."
"I love this pharmacy! Blake is awesome & the staff are all super friendly! Thank you for your awesome customer service! I really appreciate you guys!"
"PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW IN ITS ENTIRETY IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING BECOMING A CUSTOMER OF THIS PHARMACY I feel that my story is important and indicative of how you will be treated should you encounter any type of problem at this pharmacy. I had a medication prescribed to me that is schedule 3. I have been on this medication with excellent results for the better part of 2 years. This pharmacy had to order my medication due to its unusually low dosage and route of administration. Once the medication had been delivered to the pharmacy, I went with my 15 month old daughter to get a few groceries and pick up my prescription on the way out. I paid for all of my items and the medicine at the counter of the pharmacy and left to go home. My medicine was given to me in the manufacturer/distributor's container, which was still foil-sealed. When I opened the bottle, removed the foil seal, and pulled the cotton packing out, there was NOTHING ELSE IN THE BOTTLE. No dessicant packet. No residue from the medication. Yet there was at least one signature on the bottle confirming the quantity contained in the bottle. I immediately called the pharmacy and told them what had happened. I brought back the bottle see what could be done. When I arrived, there was a substitute pharmacist on duty because the regular pharmacist was on vacation. I left the bottle and was told that I would be contacted by the pharmacist upon his return. This did not happen and I ended up having to call to see what the status was. The pharmacist was instantly rude and defensive even though I was just looking for help. To sum up our call, he told me that he "watched the video" and that they did everything correctly. I still don't know exactly what he was watching for. He knows they didn't open the foil and count the controlled substance. After I asked him what could be done and what recourse I have, he said he'd only be willing to refund my copay of $20. After our conversation, I immediately went back to the pharmacy to gather some identifying information from the bottle (LOT#, Serial #, etc.) so I could give this information to someone who might be a LITTLE MORE HELPFUL. The pharmacy techs were great during this. The pharmacist refused to even look at me. I called the medicine distributor (which the pharmacist said was futile) and I managed to file a case with their quality control staff. I was provided a case # and was told to provide this information to the pharmacist and have him contact their office. I went BACK to the pharmacy to give the information to the pharmacist. AGAIN, THE PHARMACIST WOULD NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I WAS THERE. He did NOT reach out to the distributor's quality control team. They had to contact him, instead. I have had no assistance/advocacy from the pharmacist at all. Just the opposite, in fact. I have had to undertake this entire process by myself. This is a controlled substance that should be monitored and quantified at every stop. From manufacturer through to the end user. At some point, this did not happen. The bottle was sealed when I received it, so I know that it was not counted at the pharmacy. If adequate measures were taken, this would not have happened. I am trying, with no help from the pharmacist, to figure out where in the supply chain the discrepancy lies. I have now been without the medication for several days and my quality of life has suffered drastically. The physical symptoms are excessively bothersome, but being treated like an uneducated liar is easily worse. At this point, the case is still open and is being investigated by the distributor. They at least put on a facade and pretend to show concern about my problem. I understand that my predicament is unusual and rare, but I will continue to press this issue until I find out what happened to the medication that was supposed to be in my bottle. ***If you need a pharmacy, I vehemently urge you to go ANYWHERE else. When a problem arises, you will be treated poorly if you are acknowledged at all.***"
"Every pharmacy I've tried since moving here has had really bad customer service, very rude employees (Walmart, CVS, etc...). I'm really glad I tried this pharmacy because their employees are the best, very friendly."
