Reviews
"We visited this park on our trip to Chicago on a summer evening. This is nice place to chill n relax. Beautiful views of blue waters of Lake Michigan. There is access to beach right next to the park. Parking is ample but expensive $5 per hour and $25 max, which is lot considering it’s small town."
"Beautiful beach and lake front areas. The beach has an inflatable obstacle course on the water to play on. It's beautiful!"
"The park is very well taken care of. I like that it's quiet. You do have to pay for parking, $5.00 per hour. $25.00 max. They have a pier. They have beach."
"Great views with plenty of benches. Do yourself a favor and grab a treat from Whihala Ice Cream and enjoy it at the park."
"Nice place to go and relax. The only part I don't like is how the train area is setup. when I was ready to go I got stuck waiting for the trains to pass, it is like five or six train tracks in the area. I was waiting for about 50mins for three trains to pass. Oh they have signs posted that say the trains do not sound, so please pay attention and walk in designated areas. They do have restrooms and parking on site. The parking is free on the off season, but from March 1st to November 30th you have to pay at the meter station."
