"We purchased two 33" long, 1.5" thick stainless steel shelves and mounted them in the kitchen. Can't say enough about the quality and function of these shelves. Shipping: To start, the transport packaging was masterminded. There was a layer of bubble wrap, then a heavy-duty cardboard box layer, then another layer of jumbo bubble wrap, then the actual shipping box (4 layers of protection) - needless to say, the product arrived in perfect condition. Product Quality: I had searched for a couple of years to find a seamless, strong shelf like this, with our demands being a high load capacity and an attractive finish. Ponoma has perfected its specifications; all the edges smooth, finish is uniform and beautiful, mounting is tight. I have 45 pounds loaded to the bottom shelf and it could handle twice that. The closer views in the photos I've posted show how seamless and professional the edges and corners are finished."
