"Having grown up in Trussville and taught there for 8 years, I am a Husky by design. When I came to MBE almost a decade ago, I knew then it was a special place! Now, having served 2 years as Literacy Coach, plus 4 years as Assistant Principal, and almost 4 years as Principal, I have been honored to take part in the school's continued pursuit of excellence. One thing that stands out above the rest are our almost 600 students, teachers, and staff that strive to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive environment for anyone who enter our doors. The school community and parental support continue to partner in decision-making and aide in supporting one another toward a unified vision of excellence, always keeping the growth of each individual at the core. The uniqueness each of us contributes to the overall school dynamic truly is worthy of celebration. Academic progress. Social skills. Leadership principles. Personal accomplishments.
