"Beautiful school and incredible staff that creates a positive learning environment!"
"My son is in the 7th grade now but I loved when he was in the intermediate school. They were really good to him. He had no learning difficulties and he had no behavioral problems but he seemed to always get the one-on-one attention he wanted when he needed to get some extra help. I'm glad that he's been in the Helena School district since first grade. He was in adamsville before for kindergarten and he was the smartest kid in the class and broke his leg and didn't go to school for 3 months and still was smarter than all the other kids and passed without any extra work to be done and then he started first grade at Helena and we realized how far behind he had become in Jefferson County schools. I pray my child never has to go to Jefferson County schools. Shelby County is my home I went to Vincent high School and no it's not the best school but I got a better education than my husband did in Jefferson County."
"I love my sons teacher, assistant principal and the nurse. They deserve 5 stars. My issues are the ladies up front. They always rush you out the door when they aren't doing anything. I have an emotional support dog that's very large. They asked where her card or vest was. They didn't know the difference between a service dog and an emotional support dogs. I took her in once because we got there 5 minutes late. I can't leave her alone in the car because she's my shadow and me leaving her would cause a freak out. The cops outside made a ugly comment. I told them who she was and why she was with me. Wish I had got their names. My dog could hear anger and anxiety in my voice so she jumped to get reassurance. I went to walk off and they tried to call me back. I put my hand up. Said I did nothing illegal and stop harrassing me. I turned around told them my name, dob, and licence #. Then turned around and left."
"I loved this place! If you get a teacher, I would suggest Mrs. Landrum and Mrs. Thornton! They are very sweet!"
