"I realize everyone is entitled to the opinion based on their scenario. I spent a month on hummingbird lane for my physical therapy after a below the knee amputation. Everyone from Heather in social work I believe. Treated me very professionally and just kindly.. if at some point in my life I need to go to a nursing home I will certainly have the meadows as my first choice. Physical therapy worked my more then I expected. Friends were easily made be it staff. Or clients. And I was super impressed with the cleanliness. The food was excellent in my mind. . I was blessed to eat with 3 young lady's for breakfast and lunch. It was nice to speak with them to make the mealtime more pleasant. I could go on all day about how wonderful it was but I think you get it from what you have read. I do recommend them for a loved one. Thank you all. God bless you all"

"Look I don't know if you guys are short staffed or what. My Mother-inlaw has been there since Monday you the nurse that was at her house. Had told my Father-law and wife that they didn't need to bring her Meds from home. She has end stage liver disease,Also an immune system disorder. The nurse said she would get her meds. They did not give her all the meds she need untill Friday her condition has gotten worse since she has been there. My wife calls up there and it seems as if they don't no what is going on . please do a better job of communicating with the family from the doctor all the way to the nurses at night. I know you all have a tough job. Make it clear to the family's of the patience that if the medication is expensive they may need to bring it from home. That way everyone is on the same page and the patience get the best care possible . Thank you"

"My mother, Marilyn Leary is a resident there and I would highly recommend the Meadows. My mother is very special to me and I they have treated her very well. It is a beautiful place with caring staff."

"I will start this by saying that I am a Nurse Practitioner with my first certification being in Geriatric care and then Family. I have actively practiced for over 30 years. I believe I can offer an honest evaluation of the Meadows. My mother has lived there for over 2 years and I have not seen her treated poorly or in unkind manner by anyone. I come in at all times of the day without them expecting me and mom is dressed and up and her room is clean as is the facility. The staff offers her their best every day and stay in touch with me despite my coming at least every week to see her or take her out and about. They call me if there is any concern and truly take excellent care of mother. They have a NP there 5 days a week who is knowledgeable and has intervened appropriately any time it was needed. And, I know the difference. Mom has also gotten some excellent physical therapy assistance while there to attempt to strengthen her and improve balance. She loves these people. My mother is in a wheelchair with fairly advanced Alzheimer’s and they are very patient with her. Momma has taken some falls but I expect this. She wants to transfer from her wheelchair to the potty all by herself and can’t remember to call for help. They cannot stand by her 24 hours a day and unless you are standing by them constantly, not even 5 feet away, elders can fall. It’s just a reality. I don’t want my mom to fall but I will not take the last shreds of independence she has from her. I will give her the dignity she deserves and applaud the staff at the Meadows for allowing her to the same in the safest manner possible. Even with her mobility issues they take her on outings and have activities twice daily such as bingo or penny auctions. I have seen bad nursing homes and the Meadows IS NOT one. The quality of care, the food, and the clean environment at the Meadows are exceptional and well above any facility I have ever seen. I cannot recommend it enough. My mom is happy there and thinks she lives in a resort. Certainly she misses her home at times but she has nothing but kind things to say about the Meadows. Do not hesitate to place your loved one in their care. I trust them with someone I love dearly and they have not failed me or momma."

"It's been a couple of years seance my grandmother passed and I'm finally gonna put this out there about this place that hurt my grandmother badly in fact it was them that neglected her and let her fall off a bed on a hard cold tile floor in there facility yes that's 100% the truth no padding was on the floor no railing was around the bed to prevent that and I wanna tell you this she passed a couple of days after this neglect I truly hurt me very deeply I lost the most Precious person in my life because of them I hope that ever who reads this finds this helpful and will not go through what I did. And I pray every night that when the people get old that did that to her have the exact same thing happened to them."
