Reviews of Edinburgh Diner
"We were going down 65 South in Indiana and took a right on 252 and headed over to the Edinburgh diner. I had been hearing about this place forever on YouTube and Facebook on the different groups I belong to. We parked across the street at the power company and they said I could stay there long enough to have a nice lunch. We were driving the F-250 and the work and play toy hauler. We went inside the Edinburgh diner and we're met by Chastity our server, she introduced herself and took our drink order. She gave us her drinks and the menus but we knew what we had to get. Mama wanted the famous breaded pork tenderloin deluxe and I was in the mood for a double cheeseburger. She got the onion rings and I ordered fries with mine. The food came and the tenderloin was huge ( see pictures ) And it's not that it was just big it tasted really good. We got an extra bun and she made herself a sandwich double stacked and she made me a sandwich double stacked and I'll save that for later. Everything was great, Chastity was fantastic and we really enjoyed our visit. If you're in the area this is a must-see and a must eat. Highly recommended."
"You can make 3 sandwiches from one tenderloin. Not super thin like most places. The inside and menu was small but let's be honest, we're only here for the tenderloin. Great value for a huge tenderloin, only 9.99!"
"Living in Georgia I don't have the luxury of being able to find a tenderloin being served on every street corner. So I might not have had a lot of tenderloin sandwiches in my time on earth, but this is hands down the best one I have had so far. Nice crunch, no gristle and huge!!! The seasoning is phenomenal and we're not talking just salt and pepper, a multitude of flavors hits your tongue and you know that you have found heaven on a bun. I will definitely be making a three hour detour from now on every time I travel up north to visit family!"
"So I had heard the hype for years and just assumed the fame came from just how ridiculously humongous their tenderloin is. But after finally trying for myself, I can say it's not just huge, but tender, well-seasoned, and generally delicious. I also tend to have a pet peeve about onion rings whose entire onion slides out of the battered ring on the first bite, but their rings were perfectly done so that each bite held together a perfect balance of onion and fried goodness. Don't go alone, bring your friends or your family or your friends' family, because the portions are bigger than you expect (and I was already expecting a lot), and you'll need help, either finishing all your food, or hauling it out when you give up."
"Food was good, but there is a very limited menu now. No breakfast served at all, and unless you order an appetizer there are no side choices besides fries. Service was ok. The giant tenderloin is definitely the play here. I ordered it with fries and it was so much food I couldn't finish it. The restaurant could use an update and is definitely the old diner feel. It was pretty busy, which was surprising to me given the limited menu items. Overall I would come back for the tenderloin I think, but this will definitely not be a regular spot to grab a bite."
