"We’ve lived in the area for some time and just recently tried Athens for the first time. The only thing I’m upset about is that we haven’t been eating here for years! The food is always on point, and the service is prompt and pleasant. The Greek chicken dinner is amazing and the portions are huge! We’ve tried lots of stuff on the menu, including the Chili-Mac (which is fantastic) and the “cheesy cream of chicken rice” soup that is an excellent little twist on their normal cream of chicken rice soup (which is also fabulous by the way). The Italian beef is better than any of the “big” named places, and is flavorful and tender. The gravy is very well seasoned, but not so much that it becomes “spicy” like one of the well known places. Get the beef sandwich, right now…go ahead, I’ll be waiting right here! They also offer catering, which we used for our 4th of July party that we hosted yesterday. The amount of food was unreal! No one went home hungry and there were leftovers for those that wanted them. Mike even went out of his way to open on a Sunday to do the catering for us! TRY THIS PLACE RIGHT NOW!!!!"
