"I would give 0 stars if I could Lisa Franklin is the worst female doctor I've ever been too she doesn't listen or even takes the time to check to make sure everything is OK currently looking for a new doctor that listens and takes the time to make sure that everything is OK instead of one that wants to get me out of there in a hurry"

"During the entire time of my pregnancy I was told several things that were not true, such as my heart condition was no worry towards my pregnancy. I tried calling at about 3mo postpartum trying to get in desperately because i assumed I was getting PPD and each time i was sent to voicemail and never called back. I called 5 times just for that and eventually went to my psychiatrist to get help that he could provide and he encouraged me to look for a different OBGYN. Before i did i knew my yearly was coming up so i called for that and got a voicemail. Left one about needing that, no tie back to the PPD concerns, got nothing back. I called every so often and once tried to just have them schedule me at the Bham office but they werent able to (not their fault). Finally after being almost 16mo past my last yearly and 7mo postpartum (4mo trying to help PPD through psych) i decided to stop calling and get in somewhere else. Same day i called i got an appointment two weeks later and was diagnosed with a hormone disorder, needed an internal ultrasound, needed new bc, and needed hormones cause my progesterone was almost nonexistent. I knew something was wrong and still tried to go back to the same Dr who told me my heart being weak was no danger to my pregnancy. If you go to Henderson and Walton go for Dr Short!! I wasnt able to get into her cause i couldnt get to the facility at all but everyone else in my family moved from Franklin to Short and her first question when she filled in for Franklin was. “So how is your Crohn’s handling this pregnancy?” I hadnt seen the Dr in almost a year and i was 6mo pregnant when she asked. Love the place, Despise the Dr."

"Moved to the Cullman area from out of state at 34 weeks pregnant. I am not high risk and a completely healthy patient. Dr. Franklin denied me as a patient with no explanation which results in a blanket denial from all physicians in the Henderson Walton practice. When I called to request a reason I was told, "I don't know...maybe it could be you are 34 weeks. The doctor didn't give a reason and we cannot contact her for further explanation." Not sure if this is how all the physicians treat patients but I have no reason to think otherwise."
