"Nobody thinks the tornado will hit their house. We have been conditioned to go through the routine, watch James Spann, and then move about our life. In March 2021, our neighborhood was hit by a tornado that we are still recovering from nearly a year later. Within minutes of leaving my basement, realizing just how lucky we were that our house was still standing, my phone began to buzz with a flurry of texts and phone calls.
