"I'm not sure what the purpose of having a State Farm agent is. I was recently rear ended in Troy, AL. The other driver was at fault. The Troy Police Department won't send me the accident report via email but they said they can email it to my insurance agent. Great news. I could just have my agent contact them and get the accident report emailed to them. I thought they would at least do that. I thought they might even contact the other driver's insurance company to help start the claim. Instead, they called me back to tell me that the Troy PD would send a copy to me through the mail if I just sent a self addressed stamped envelope. Or they suggested I could file a claim with them and just pay my deductible. But, i can't file a claim with my agent. I would have to call the toll free number or file online. And why would I file a claim on my policy for an accident with an insured driver that wasn't my fault? So what exactly does my agent do? This is essentially self serve insurance. I've been insured with State Farm since i first got my driver's license but I'm going to switch my home and auto insurance after this."
"It was nice. Always treated like a friend every time ."
"Excellent customer service! Was with them for the majority of 10 years. Bent over backwards to help me with an issue I've had now with my current agent after a move! Excellent customer service, MUCH APPRECIATED!"
