"Do your research before choosing to stay at one of the properties that they manage. They could care less about their tenants and there are reviews from many other tenants from many other properties that shows that they don't care. I currently live at The Bell Lofts and have mold in the windows in my apartment that they have known about for a year and choose to do nothing about it. I have open maintenance requests, one from a year ago, and the others have been open for 2-3 weeks. The HVAC filters are not changed on a regular basis. It is sad that I have to request a filter change. The HVAC filters for the whole building haven't been changed since September. Windows have been falling out and many, many more issues. I also had to freeze during the very cold below freezing winter days/nights because they refused to fix the heat. I could go on and on. Please, please, do not lease from any apartment that they manage! You will save yourself the headache and your money can be well spent somewhere else!"
"Poor response time to simple ground concerns. The management staff has integrity issues. The staff a communication issues. The grounds of the campus have become a nightmare. Fees are out of control, duplicate, and charged monthly."
"(Property Saddleback Ridge) We’ve been here going on 4 years , we had several reoccurring leaks now we have fleas(3 months or more) The office won’t return calls nor send anyone out . Sent someone out when we specifically asked to have them come out when present in the residence. They stated we had kid items on the floor which is understandable but they did not return to spray and it’s been 3 weeks . My child is severely getting bitten and has sores all over her due to the flea problem AND WE DO NOT OWN PETS!!! They told us we didn’t have fleas so I captured a photo for proof. If anyone knows who I can contact or get in touch with about the situation please like and message me via email because what we are spraying PERSONALLY is not working.im finding them all on my clothes while at work."
"The property that I live at used to be so good. If I needed any help the employees would work with me. I’m a single mom and this year has been tough but I always manage to pay my rent with the two $75 late fees with no argument. This past month my partner and I lost our jobs, my car was totaled, and it’s getting close to Christmas. I communicated to the manager that all this happened and I will be late and was ok. I’ve never gone more than a month in the hole. I managed to snag a job just in time and I’m waiting on my first check. I just got a letter threatening eviction after only 7 days late which the property manager knows about. There’s no compassion or empathy in the employees that work here now. I would really consider another option in housing."
"This company shouldn’t be able to get the 2.3 stars they’ve received. I’m starting to think no one in the company has any respect for human lives. I have been experiencing issues with my apartment going on a year now. Doors not locking, floors sinking in, drainage systems messed up, and now mold. I’m missing work because me and my 7 year are sick due to mold growing in the bathroom and kitchen, not to mention we are both asthmatic. Maintenance comes in and didn’t fix the mold issue but fixed the dishwasher issues, how clever?. They refused to move me because they’re constantly trying to bring people in to fill the apartments. They care about making money and filling vacancies than they do about taking care of long term tenants who’ve been here years and years. This company will be receiving a letter from my lawyer for my plans to sue, for me missing days and doctor bills. I have pictures, videos and proof of maintenance requests. I’m definitely not waiting for a lease to be up, I’m moving asap! Update: Had to take my daughter to the ER yesterday and it confirms that she’s sick and wheezing due to expose to mold."
