"Terrible. Scams everyone for their money"

"Decent tattoo work, but absolutely terrible customer service. I started a sleeve with him and he consistently asked for money for our sessions in advance (not including the deposit). He cancelled our final session the day of, after he had been paid in advance and then I hadn’t heard from him since. Terrible business practices. Very unprofessional. Poor communication. Would NOT recommend."

"Decent tattoo work, but the whole experience was incredibly unprofessional. I started a sleeve here, spend four sessions and over $2000. Dan didn’t prepare for the sessions or plan the sleeve out. He was consistently late to the appointments, starting the last appointment over 1 1/2 hrs from what was scheduled. Each session at the end my still have a lot of left over ink and marker, he didn’t clean the tattoo or arm barely at all at the end of any of the sessions. When trying to plan the tattoo he wouldn’t respond or any messages, or give any ideas or feedback. I had to reschedule one of my appointments, which I gave over 3 weeks notice, and attempted to reschedule, but he didn’t respond to me even after number attempts of trying to contact him, both calling and texting. This was after already spending over $1500 with him. My fiancé messaged him directly after me on one of these attempts, he continued to ignore me but responded to her within 10 minutes. Then with the tattoo itself, there were parts that he changed while working on the tattoo that I did not want, which I voiced to him repeatedly, but he didn’t adjust or change but rather continued with the random design add on that I did not want. At the end of the last session, after being 1 1/2 hours late starting, without any kind of apology, not being prepared for continuing the sleeve which already had 3 sessions done, then taking a 20 min smoke break in the middle, he wanted to charge for more time then he worked for. I brought up the concerns and instead of working through it, he got mad and said that was all completely normal for an artist and he had no idea what my problem was. This was after spending over $2000 with him. After leaving the shop he immediately blocked me on social media. Everything is documented with pictures from each session, as well as all messages all saved with all communication. Very frustrating and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend Dan to anyone. His work is decent, but completely unprofessional, little to no communication, doesn’t prepare for sessions so you have little to no say with the work."
