"I love Danny! He is an amazing artist with an awesome story. He is extremely professional and transparent when working. He is responsive to the client’s request, and he’s very understanding. The shop is very clean and relaxing. I got my first tattoo on Dec 31st of 2021 from Danny. I messaged the number provided on their website asking for a consultation. I got a response within 5 minutes of messaging them. They asked for reference photos and artist preference. After exchanging a few text messages, they informed me that Danny was taking walk-ins at that time. Within a few minutes, I got a call from Danny himself. He basically said that he was available at the Halsted location and it’s first-come, first-served. Upon arrival, he let me into his shop (due to COVID restrictions, he kept the door closed so only one client is allowed in at a time + we both kept our masks up) (also if you have friends, they’re also allowed in the shop with you if you just ask :) ). I showed him my reference photos and immediately he began working. The shop is very beautiful and clean. He lit incense and played light, delicate music. We had casual conversation, which helped calm my nerves. After a while, he showed me his design and calculated the price. It was a beautiful design but I told him that it was a little more expensive that anticipated. He was open to my response and edited the design to help lower the cost (cost is varied by size and time). After editing it, he showed it to me and it was perfect. After completing the paperwork and payment, he began making the stencil. When he was done, he placed the stencil and asked if the placement looked good. He prepped the chair and tattooing equipment. Everything was properly sanitized and wrapped. Then, we began the tattooing process. He was gentle and talked to me throughout the process. He told me where we were in the design and progress (25% done, half way through, almost finished, etc.). When he was done, he wiped it off and carefully examined it to make sure everything was complete. I was able to check it out in the mirror and it was done beautifully. He wrapped it up and instructed me on how to take care of the tattoo. Any other questions I had, I DM’ed him on instagram and he responded within a day or two. 100% recommend and I hope to get another tattoo from him again soon."
