"The ladies there were so friendly and helpful. We really love their southern charm and hospitality. They marked the spots we wanted to see on the map for us, and gave us directions and parking information. We so enjoyed the Bicentennial Park (like a big square ) in front of the state capitol building. This Alabama Bicentennial Park commemorates Alabama’s 200th anniversary of statehood. The park’s bronze relief sculptures present sixteen moments from Alabama history, complemented by narratives that provide historical context. Very informative. Close by, there were The church Martin Luther preached in, the first confederacy White House. It’s history. The riverfront park was very beautiful."

Great map of the city with important landmarks. There are a lot of museums etc that are closed at the beginning of the week so make sure you check on openings."
