"Worst experience of my life with Melissa Best and the receptionist. I was denied care because the receptionist confirmed my appointment the day before I paid what was needed at the time to only be asked to pay an additional $500 the day of a couple of minutes before my appointment. The receptionist couldn’t tell me why I need to pay just that I had to for me to be seen."

"I was called by the receptionist to confirm my appointment the day before my appointment. I traveled to Prattville on my lunch break just to be told thay with my insurance a doctor has to be present. There was no concern for my wasted break, not even an apology for the inconvenience. I switched offices so hopefully Montgomery will treat me better. If not I will be switching again."

"I’ve had the NP for a couple years now and she’s friendly with small talk, but can be very pushy. While I understand I am a big person, I was told to not talk about pregnancy with her because of my risks. Today, I had an appointment that was rescheduled twice now from 9:30 to 10:30 to 12:30. Now I sit in the office at 12:30, my appointment time that was confirmed via email, and the office is closed for lunch. I’m so frustrated because this appointment has been scheduled for weeks and I had to take off work to make it. I’m fed up and will be changing doctors after this appointment. Would not recommend."

"I made an appointment here because I loved Dr. Logan years ago. However, when I called to make an appointment, I was told I would be considered a new patient and that I would Have to see the nurse practitioner. The receptionist was rude on the phone and in person. When I got there with my husband, we were told he couldn’t accompany me which blows my mind. We are trying to get pregnant together, and he should be allowed to be there for his wife. When I get back there, the nurse practitioner had, what I assume was a student, following her. So whatever their rule is for no additional persons only applies to patients? The nurse practitioner was indifferent at best. She was not personable and was very condescending. By the end of the appointment I felt belittled and I certainly will never come back here. I can’t speak on Dr. Logan, she was absolutely amazing when I was her patient 6 years ago."

"I have been a patient here for years and after seeing the nurse practitioner (she could get me in quicker) for the same issue 3 visits in a row; when the same issue kept persisting I contacted the office wanting an appointment with Dr. Logan because said issue was still occurring... I was put on hold for 5 min while the nurse was trying to find a time to fit me in. Between Prattville and Montgomery she was unable to find ANY time to fit me in. Instead, I was told to come in November (3.5 months from my phone call stating the ongoing issue). I was told to take medicine that I could’ve been taking for months and months prior, had it been suggested to me before bc I can literally buy it off of amazon. Also, after taking this for 2 months, my issues have still not subsided. The nurse practitioner’s bed side manor, or lack there of was always bothersome to me, but when I had my issues I needed to get in quickly, so I made appointments to see her. It saddens me to think they couldn’t make time for someone who is a current patient. I have found a new doctor and they were able to get me in within 3 weeks of my calling!! If you want to feel cared for and prioritized, do not go here."
