Rest Stop & Mississippi Welcome Center

"Restrooms were dirty, the view is beautiful, you can find pet area, there is a veteran area and enough space in case of you want to walk with your pets, the only thing I didn’t like it was that the restroom smells bad."

"We stopped here December 1st, weather was warm 60's. Welcome center closed. Clean, bathrooms open 24 hours. Vending machines available. Stayed overnight in car parking as we have short van. In the morning, we realized they have a loop with pull in spots behind the truck parking. Each pull in has a trash can and picnic table. Some rvs were overnighting there. Security rides around on cart but never said anything to us."

"This is an excellent location to pull over and stop to sleep/use the restrooms. There is security on site during the night, so you can rest safely and as soundly as possible. The restrooms are really clean! It has vending machines on site, as well as a beautifully landscaped micro-garden; with a really neat “Katrina Tree Sculpture” onsite!"

"Mississippi is known for its Southern charm and blue grass music. I took a moment to stop at the welcome center. It is a great stop when traveling to take a break, have a picnic, grab a snack, and use the restroom. The open spaces between pic nic areas allow for some privacy."
