"Ashley is amazing young lady!! She makes you feel so relaxed when you are talking with her. Even when she is going over your reports from lab work and scans, you still feel like a friend is talking with you and not down to you! I personally think I could not have better health care providers than I have at Urology Centers of Alabama!! The team is phenomenal!!"
"Sadie is a very caring and knowledgeable professional. It’s a pleasure visiting with her, even when the subject is less than pleasant."
"Poor listening skills. I insisited I had a kidney stone, she wanted to send me home with a prescription for prostatitis. I held firm to get a CT scan and waited 2 hours during which Ms. Sharpton asked me did I want to go home with a prescription and not get the CT scan. CT scan showed 3 stones in my right kidney, one of which was in the ureter and probably would not pass. She neglected to tell me about the nodules showing in my lower right lung which I learned about when a "real" doctor" told my wife after kidney stone surgery. I have seen her twice, both times she was contentious and would not listen to me. But since I could not see a "real" doctor due to emergency appointments caused by kidney stones I had no choice. In the future I will NOT schedule anything with Ms. Sharpton. I think the Urology Center would be better off with her not seeing patients in the future."
"I happen to have a Doctor who I am very satisfied with. However after 2 years of being a patient with Alabama Urology I am still unable to speak to any type of nurse or Doctor without having to make 3 or 4 phone calls or having to wait for 3 or 4 days for someone to get back to me concerning any questions I might have concerning my condition or medication! This is completely unacceptable way to treat patients and it seems like the people who answer the telephones are just making a paycheck and don’t care at all about a patients welfare! If I could find a private Eurologist I would do so but it seems like every Eurologist is a part of Alabama Urology. This is a horrible way to treat patients and it should be addressed by someone at the State level!"
"Meredith was joyful. The visit did go fast, but I was prepared. She listened carefully and accurately. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction. The other nurses could not have been more friendly or professional."
