"First - Let me state that I have not seen Dr. Cohn as a patient to date. I was referred to him by my doctor who highly recommended him at the time and I called to schedule an appointment for consultation for surgery. The nurse I spoke with was very pleasant on my first phone call but the first available consultation was A YEAR out. In any profession, I think that is absolutely unreasonable at best. In addition, the require you to put a credit card on file to charge you $125.00 fee if you do not show up for the appointment that is a YEAR out. If you do not put a credit card on file they will not hold an appointment for you at all. The doctor may have good reviews for the patients he does see but I don't feel like the patient's well being is the most important goal or desire here. I have had a spinal and cervical fusion due to conditions beyond my control and I explained to the staff in the attempt to make the appointment that this was not an "elective" make me a "trophy wife" case, but a necessary one. No matter...at this time the appoint is still a year out and my doctor and I are looking at other options."
