Reviews of Children's of Alabama - Pediatric ENT Associates
"They don't respond to voice-mails and I'm left on hold for an hour before having to hang up to return to work. I wouldn't leave a poor review if this only occurred once but this is repetitive."
"Dr. Hill was awesome! Everyone was super nice. Surgery for my daughter was fast and everyone was so friendly, making me feel so calm during her surgery. Even brought us snacks while we waited. They also called the next day to check on her. Would definitely recommend. Thanks so much!"
"Dr. Kulbersh was a nightmare that we still can't wake up from. We took my daughter to him in the efforts to find out why her lymphodes were swelling on side of her neck, in pain and not having any success with antibiotics. He has all the credentials and education but his manners, attitude and professionalism are to be seriously questioned and needs to be changed. He wanted to take out a gland that he first said that he didn't see anything, the swelling or problems looking at her until I said it's weird that everyone before him could see the swelling in her gland along with test done showed evidence. After going to then look at her previous test he then wanted to either take out a gland that he wasn't sure about as he said or that he could look with a scope to see if there was anything blocking or anything questionable. I allowed and agreed for him to look into her gland to see what he could because she had been in pain for a considerable amount of time. He never came back to the room to say what type of procedure that he was going to do. The nurses came back with instructions on what to do and where to go for surgery. The day of the surgery the nurses, anesthesiologist and his surgical team came before the procedure to talk to my daughter and I but no Dr Kulbersh. We saw him walk pass the door twice but he didn't and wouldn't even come and discuss what he was supposed to discuss before the surgery. I had to ask the nurse what type of procedure was going to be done. He came in after the surgery was done told me really quickly that he saw nothing and that he flushed her gland with a steroid. He then quickly ended the conversation and didn't ask if I had or allowed any questions. If it wasn't for me calling my child's doctor and notifying his nurse Kate at the office when she called me, me expressing disdain for how he carried himself he would not have done anything further. There is even more but there is no room for this continued nightmare. I don't know why he chose to carry on this way especially being a parent himself is beyond me. I really thought long and hard about saying my piece about this situation but parents need to know and beware."
"I highly recommend Dr. Nicholas Smith. He is very patient, kind, and thorough. Every visit, Dr. Smith makes it a point to explain in great detail my daughter condition. All my questions are always answered and never given a rush response. He has a pleasant demeanor and it’s always a pleasure working with him."
"Took good care of my son here. He just came out of surgery and is doing well. Staff is skilled and super friendly. It's obvious that they truly care about the children they treat here, as well as the families. Very good experience, given the fact that my child having surgery is such a scary thing. These people made us feel super comfortable and were so welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. True professionals here!"
