"My husband and I went to pick up some contacts until his appointment. The staff was not there but an individual stated they stepped away and they would be back shortly ( Apparently he was waiting on service; as well). We were greeted (if you can call it that); by an individual that was sitting @ the computer stuffing her face with popcorn ( I'm assuming the manager). That by itself was poor customer relations and poor business practices. I stated that I called and was told he could pick up his contacts until his appointment; she said " I don't have anything to do with that" and I was still telling her what we needed and mentioned the tech that I had spoke with. At that moment the individual I needed walked out and the "RUDE" individual said "well you can talk to her". Miss Rude, Crude and Obnoxious started arguing with us about when his last visit was being over 2 years and all three of us disagreed and she said "well your script ran out the beginning to 2023". I stated so its only been a little over 1 year. My husband at this point had had enough and stated he wasn't there to beg for anything and that she doesn't need to be rude and he made the statement that he would just go somewhere else. Please note: I had already been given the contacts and they were in purse. She proceeded to be loud and obnoxious and started towards me with her arm and hand outstretched towards me to grab my purse. I stated "" look he is upset because of your rudeness". He'll be at his appointment when he is suppose to be". My husband then stated KINDLY thanks, salutations and we proceed to walk away. This is definitely poor business practices for this establishment...not only was she sloppy, stuffing her face and all out RUDE, CRUDE and OBNOXIOUS when we approached her; her mannerism was totally uncalled for . Consider this as a formal complaint and I demand for her to be disciplined to the fullest extent that "Wal-Mart Optical" can do. The other individual was "Maria" and I believe the name of the "RUDE" individual was Tory...; because she didn't have anything identifying her but they were the only 2 there. Let me just say one last comment...If she would have approached me and grabbed my purse ( because that was her intention) she would've had to deal something I'm not accustom to; because I was being threatened. If I could do no STARS I would have."
"I’m not used to being talked to like I was and I have always had good visits. But bottom line is there’s no customer courtesy from a few but not all and I will make my appointment but am considering changing after the discourtesy"
"Great staff. Horrible manager and doctor. My insurance had to fight for a refund even though the glasses were wrong."
"I was just here and this guy Tracy was like a wizard with fixing my glasses. I was having difficulty keeping them on my face, especially at work which was quickly becoming intolerable. I briefly explained my issue and he did a quick test by having me tilt my head to see where they were falling off. An immediate analysis of the situation brought him to the conclusion that the arms were not flared at all and that's why they were slipping. In an almost magical fashion he was able to remedy my issue by flaring the arms to appropriately suit my needs. This man is a master of his craft, and could easily weild the force."
"Only have a doctor available to do an eye exam on Thursday’s… (today is Wednesday) the rude guy that answered said “but not tomorrow Thursday, next Thursday” what good is it to be open if you can only do exams 1 day a week?!? Screw Walmart and the vision center, I’ll go pay $100 more at a real professional eye doctor."
