Reviews of Courtview Towers
"The manger Kristy and Dinna great lady's could be tougher on some. The building is old but they try there best keeping place clean, trash picked up, and making sure you have on paper who comes and goes. Thank you for the effort."
"First place my son and I lived when we got to Florence. I was fleeing domestic violence of 15 years in Cullman. First off I'm glad to say one thing, I got a roof over my boys head fast because of Safe Place. Next I'll say, Lord have mercy on S. Frost for the treatment I received after an acquaintance was made to move because of marijuana. I had nothing to do with that, but was treated like a criminal simply because I knew him and am a medical marijuana advocate. I have Lupus SLE. I am an educated teacher who wanted a better emotional life for my son. With that said, the place smells awful, very scary neighborhood behind it, run down pool and everything else, no protection when ex-husband tried to enter my apartment once. I took matters into my own hands and answered the door locked n loaded. I was given a "warning" for having a firearm and protecting my son and myself. Btw, it's registered and so am I to conceal carry. I was also warned that they smelled "pot coming from my apartment" the day after they busted the aquaintance with weed. The report was during the day. I was at work all day and my son was at school. We moved as soon as I got on my feet. Took 4 months. Longest 4 months ever. Bed bugs, trash, hot as hell, horrible smell and drugs everywhere. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Fast forward 6 years, son is graduated, full scholarship to Alabama and we're doing great. I am grateful for all. Courtview, please cleanup your act. I'm glad S. Frost is no longer there. She does section 8 now. I still see her occasionally. She's much nicer now. Maybe it was just where she was employed that made her so nasty. I wouldn't want that job. Just saying. Namaste'"
"I lived in this building for a full year and it was nothing short of a madhouse. First off, they only house drug addicts, it reaks of weed and what smells like meth or something. The hallways are disgusting with hair and trash all over the floors. Not to mention, they keep the heat on very high all throughout summer as well so its suffocating all the time. The laundry mat downstairs is beyond overpriced and doesnt work half the time, it will leave your clothes soapy and soaking wet. The dryers do not dry, it takes multiple cycles. The lady's at the desk downstairs are incredibly unhelpful and rude. The maintenance is the only GREAT part about this apartment building. Next, the store across the road on the backside is very dangerous, there are fights, drugdeals, and hangouts over there all the time. Lastly, theres security at night which makes sense, but its a hassle to get in and out and to bring company over, your company has to bring their ID and sign in, and if they forget their ID you can forget them coming in because they will not allow it. The security is helpful in some ways but at the same time it feels like you're in prison. I 10/10 would not recommend this place to anyone who is young, in college, or has kids. It's affordable and that's really it."
"The resident manager Susan Frost acts like she hates all people and in particularly all residents. Her despotic episodes of rants and raves and threats are well known and many folks are leaving the place within the first year they are here. Ask anybody who lives here and listen."
