"Tired of visiting doctor after doctor only to be handed yet another prescription, I decided to give acupuncture a try. Looking at the body in a wholistic, systemic way, as acupuncture does, versus only medicating symptoms sounded idyllic. After only three sessions with Emmanuel, I feel more empowered and educated about my body and its lingering ailments. Emmanuel is a wealth of knowledge, readily suggesting herbs or supplements I could try, to complement the acupuncture’s work. It’s worth noting that I’ve seen a naturopathic doctor who would recommend supplements, and then charge exorbitant prices for those supplements at checkout. Emmanuel has never sold me anything! He gives me a list, and then suggests where the products can be found. It’s such a gift to not be pressured into purchasing products. Emmanuel is extremely thorough and thoughtful in both the questions he asks and when choosing which points to work on. Each visit leaves me feeling heard, and even better, feeling relaxed and relieved of headaches, hot flashes and anxiety. Acupuncture will remain part of my healthcare regimen, and Family Care Acupuncture will be the only place I go to get it."
