"Dr. Bayless told me he could not perform my root canal. That part made sense enough - it's a complicated procedure and was in a hard-to-reach tooth, so he referred me elsewhere. That, in itself, is not the problem. On my way out, I was told about a program where, if I paid $300 for the consultation, would cover that visit and the crown I would need after the procedure. That sounded like quite the bargain! Well, the root canal itself went fine elsewhere, but when I called to schedule the crown, I got waylaid by awkward business hours several times. I left messages that were never returned. When I finally got through to someone today, they hung up on me as soon as they heard my name. At this point I'm calling it a wash and going back to my childhood dentist."
