"I HATE to do this. Unfortunately I have had to take my care elsewhere. I have been going here for a few years but since going to the new office things have gone downhill. Miss Tammy at the front desk is a sweetheart and remembers me by name and my story. I honestly love her. Katie Bright has been there for me for a long time. However the days wait for my medication is unacceptable. I also waited all week for help as I was in a desperate situation. I would have seen ANY dr in the practice or even another IBH location. However I ended up waiting and waiting and eventually having to go to a facility because my episode was so bad. I wish that I could make it work, I honestly do but… idk if it’s the IBH chain or what but it’s unacceptable. My medication is still completely out of whack and my new medication that was prescribed to me yesterday morning hasn’t been sent to the pharmacy yet. It’s very unfortunate due to how little access to mental health care there is in Cullman. I really wish it worked out. I appreciate the staff that took care of me and I hope they can do better for others in the future. I will miss Tammy!!!"
"I've never seen this dr before and I made a mistake getting the appt mixed up with another new dr that canceled due to illness. Integrated Health would not see me and wanted me to pay 50.00 I don't have because I'm on disability. I am usually on time but this was a mistake. But they don't see it that way. I've been waiting since Sept 29, 2023 for an appt. I would not recommend them."
"If your calling isn't working in mental health, then please do NOT work with those that truly need help! This particular facility isn't truly interested in helping those with mental health illnesses! Clients wouldn't get treated the way they do if this facility was actually trying to assist those in need! All of you can do better, it's your job! And look at the recent reviews! There's a string of apologies on behalf of the staff at this facility! Please spare me the empty apology on my post! A guy in front of me in line was holding everyone up. I went outside to get my insurance card, then came back inside! The lady at the service desk said I was late (1 minute), even though I had already been inside the facility! She wrote me down as a " no show" and I'm no longer able to get help now! Does that even seem ethical for a facility to turn away a potential patient with mental illness for "being late" by 60 seconds?"
"They are so rude. So disorganized. Very unprofessional. They wrote the wrong prescription, tried to tell me I was wrong and that they were right, my pharmacist had to call them and correct them (educate them on prescriptions). They can’t do their jobs right. When asked to do their jobs correctly, they are so mean and snarky. Everyone in the office will know your name. And this is a therapist office.? This is quite frankly the worst doctor experience I’ve ever had. This is day three of trying to get my medications. If you need your medications correct and quickly, do not go here."
"Do not go to the IBH Cullman location. They have moved my medication appointment back two times now. Originally, it was on August 4; then it got moved to September 22; now they wanted to move it all the way back to November, basically two months away. I have been struggling so much with getting the medication that I needed that I had to check myself into a mental health hospital just to be able to get prescribed medication to help with my panic attacks and anxiety. Had I not done that, I would be stuck, with no medication (as the one I was on that wasn't working was expiring on refills) and left to deal with it on my own. What if my depression was getting worse to the point of actual thoughts of self-harm? Doesn't matter. They don't care. And you can blame it on low staff only having one doctor and one NP to do medication appointments, but even then it is unacceptable. Once is enough; twice is too far. You're better off going somewhere else for medication management, even if you have to wait longer because at least other practices will keep their appointments."
