"Dr. Boughton is nice, but I don’t like the receptionist or whoever does the prior authorizations. They weren’t friendly or compassionate. Edit: Last time I came in here the receptionists were rude and Boughton wasted my appointment. I don’t have a lot of money so I try to make my appointments worth it, but the entire time he was on the phone with tandem support. I voiced concerns about an issue I was having when I thought I had a moment while he was on hold and he told me what I was saying did sound crazy and that was that. He didn’t give me a chance to talk about issues I’m having with my type 1 diabetes and when he asked what I needed prescription wise he didn’t even send in all the prescriptions and didn’t send it to the right pharmacy. I sincerely think if I had kept going here I was going to die because Boughton really isn’t educated on my pump or type 1 diabetes. I was always rushed out of my appointments without being heard. If I died in their care I doubt they’d stick their noses any higher than they already got them. Save your money and go to a real endocrinologist if you care about your life."
