Indian Rivers Behavioral Health

Indian Rivers Behavioral Health is a comprehensive behavioral health provider located at 890 Reform Street in Carrollton, Alabama, United States. Established in 1969, our goal is to provide excellent care to individuals coping with mental illness, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities. We offer a rich continuum of care for a variety of diagnoses including A.D.H.D., depression, anxiety, thought disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities.

Our adult treatment focuses on recovery, symptom reduction, illness management, and stabilization. We also offer services for individuals aged 5-17 with mental health or serious behavioral disorders. Additionally, we provide tailored Developmental Disabilities services to meet the needs of those in our programs.

For those struggling with addiction, we offer outpatient and inpatient services in Tuscaloosa, Bibb, and Pickens counties. Our substance abuse services aim to help individuals begin their recovery journey. Tuscaloosa County has recognized us as a Stepping Up Community, and we have national recognition through the Stepping Up Initiative.

Indian Rivers Behavioral Health is currently seeking Direct Care Staff/Mental Health Aides for our residential settings, including Crisis Center staff. We have full-time, part-time, relief, and weekend positions available. Our services are designed to help individuals stay out of local jails and emergency rooms.
