"Whenever someone ask me what surgeon I would personally refer them to, (and it is a question I am asked a lot), I always say Dr. Hoang. There are so many reasons for this. One is his bedside manner is the most pleasant of any surgeon I have ever encountered. Next, is that he is very knowledgeable. He explains the procedures to the patients in a way they can relate to. His follow-up care is very good as well. He has performed surgery on me several times, and my husband also. We will always use him and will continue to refer others to him. "I was referred by my GP to see this surgeon. I filled out all paperwork and submitted my insurance card. Payed $50. Copay in advance. After a breif talk with Dr Houng he informed me i had a hernia that needed surgery. (No kidding I've known that for 10 years. And been told by my own dr a dozen times) So he told me I'd need to see a cardiologist before hand to be sure my heart could take surgery. ( again I'm thinking tell me something i don't know). He left the room and a nurse/ office person came in to inform me that their office wasn't in my network and not only could they not treat me but i had to pay an additional $20. Just to get out of the office that day. So $70 bucks and waste of 3 hours and 90 miles driving one way to tell me to find another Dr? And im on disability of $900 a month.Crooks i tell you patient beware."
