"overall, I think this is a fine restaurant if you are up to spicy food. You got to choice what ever ingredient you would like to put in your bowl. The spicy soup is made with beef broth and it really does taste good. For the tomato soup, you may feel like the food has nothing to do with the ingredients, they just do not bond with each other really well."
"Honestly very happy they switched out Yatagarasu with this hot pot place. Very good flavors, and good ingredients. You choose your ingredients too so there is always something new to try. Would like to try the tomato base next time."

"Great authentic MaLaTang restaurant, very flavorful soup base and wide range of vege/meat selection. I like the seating area as well which provides a nice personal space for solo diner. I noticed they did not really clean/spray the table after the last guest left, so please pay more attention to the hygiene of the table. I’d love to come back again and recommend to other friends."
"Wide selection of ingredients to choose from. The malatang was delicious but the sauce isle was empty and wasn't refilled regularly. Overall, very good!"
