"I don't understand why this place has high reviews. I just left there and they quoted me right under $1400 for a water pump. I called three other places and the next highest price I could find was $750..... but they definitely made me pay $125 for the diagnosis. They didn't even pull my car into the garage. $125 for them to do a pressure test in the parking lot.... Schroeder's is robbing people. Worst auto repair experience I have ever had. Response: The other 3 quotes included the same things. Belt, flush, waterpump and replacing the coolant lost during the change. 1st quote $750, second quote $675, and the last quote was $578. No other place even came close to your quote for the same work minus the 2 min pressure check that you charged $125 for. But because of your response I also called the shops and asked what they would charge to diagnose and make sure it was the water pump. The highest price for that was $45. Just saying "we use quality parts" doesn't take away from the fact that you stole at least $80 from me and God knows what else from every one of your customers that doesn't know any better...."
