Affordable Dentures & Implants

"At my first visit, getting the remainder of my teeth removed and the making of my temporary dentures, the attendants or nurses seemed to have more time for me than the "dentist". They also took time to talk to you like a person, not just a customer. The dentist needs lessons in social skills, unless she was just having a bad day... So far, the dentures are definitely working out for me, although I think I would still rather wait until my gums totally healed before making dentures. One major thing I didn't like about this Affordable Dentures... There's definitely a homophobic air to the place. Literature specifically against the LGQTB community is everywhere in plain sight. Some of the workers made a point of being critical of the lifestyle too. If I had known this before being sent there by a friend's advice, I WOULD NOT HAVE GONE THERE! I hope my review is not hidden away, because the truth should be known. I'm straight, but can't stand other people saying "they" made a choice! If so, then even the naysayers had ideas of doing the same thing but chose not to. Right!? Stick to running the business, not spreading hate"

"They said that they accepted my united Healthcare when I made the appointment and then they said that they couldn't after I got there. I was in there to get snap-on dentures for my bottom dentures. Last year I got a full set of premium dentures at affordable dentures in Woodhaven Michigan (because ft Wayne didn't accept UnitedHealth caren and I got the premium dentures so that this year I could get the implants attached to them. The premium dentures were strong enough to attach the implants to. And my insurance covered my extractions and both upper and lower dentures. And when I wanted to do that at ft Wayne they told me that the premium dentures weren't good enough, and that I had to purchase a new full set of ultimate dentures and the insurance wouldn't cover another set of dentures and the new set would cost me $4,200 plus the cost of the implants totaling $6,100 and change and $0 was covered by my insurance. The Woodhaven Affordable dentures changed ownership the week before the 1st of 2024 and they are waiting for their insurance approval. So I am going have to wait until they are approved and have them give me the implants. I was very disappointed with the way they wouldn't even try to see if they could work with my insurance. I guess they have enough business and they don't want to try to help me. No problem I'm probably gonna have better care from the affordable dentures in Woodhaven Michigan anyway"

"The receptionist Renee is very friendly and very up beat, made me feel comfortable! The staff was nice and friendly and explained everything into details on what the process would be, they got me into my appointments quick without waiting weeks to be seen. Would recommend to anyone!"

"Getting dentures at my age is not common and can be scary. I was ashamed of the condition my teeth were in and everyone at the office has been so friendly and made me feel completely comfortable. Every step in the process has been explained to me and there were no surprises along the way. Within a month of my consultation I was able to smile again with confidence. My first set of temporary dentures didn't fit quite right and they had no issue immediately sending off for a new pair. The first time denture wearing package made something I never thought I could afford a possibility."

"Everything started off pretty good until I go back for a soft reline. Apparently they will charge you OUT OF POCKET even if you have HIP! I was told at the beginning of this process I would be allowed my immediate dentures, a soft reline after 6months, and then a final hard reline for my post surgery dentures. The nurse up front, Renee, made me believe that my insurance would NOT cover the soft reline. After I asked more questions, why didn't they tell me it's only good for about 1 month? How does someone with HIP have to pay out of pocket for a planned out treatment that was supposed to be covered. Well I'm here to tell you that it was in fact covered under my insurance and they charged me $170 for this reline. I don't have a bunch of money as I'm sure most of us do not. So why not look into my claim that it should be covered? Due process and due diligence were thrown out that day. The fact that people are so willing to try and take your last dollar baffles me. Hope I get my refund the following Monday because is not readily available. Good first impression but horrible at following through with a treatment THEY planned. 1 star out of 5 is on order for this one and they should be ashamed of trying to scam people in our community just to line theirs pockets as much as possible.
