"New to Indianapolis and was recommended this place. Came in at 10:30am, was told to come back at 1:30pm as then a braider will be ready. Came back at 1:20pm. Was not acknowledged to get into a chair until 3PM. My hair was started by some else and ended by someone else .The middle part was not centered. Multiple of these braids came sliding off from my hair a week later! Like they attached by a loop. I have never had anyone braid my hair like this in my life. It was a very disappointing experience after having paid $270 and left a $20 tip."

"I arrived at the shop before 11. All the chairs were full and one person had two people in their head. After waiting for close to a hour a lady arrived and started my hair. I showed her a picture and told her I wanted small knotless braids. They were going to charge me $250. After watching people go in and out and get finish. This is how far she got by 2:50 PM. I asked her how long it will be, and all chaos broke loose. she goes to tell me this takes longer, but everybody around me has smaller parts in more braids. She states that because I’m getting knotless. To make matters worse there were still a small knots at the root of the braids. As a braider, it wasn’t the best set of knotless. The owner wasn’t happy because I didn’t agree with the size for the price or the timing. Which lead to them making threats about what will happen to me if I didn’t pay them. Also what happens to people that mess with Africans. Also I sat there with my translator on and listen as they talked and complain about the people they were servicing. They talked more then they worked. Edited after business reply as a business owner, you shouldn’t even want to reply and in such manner. I’ve been to your shop before years ago, so I don’t understand how I want to shut it down. You guys play people like this all the time in the back of their head and that’s not cool or fair. People are giving you their hard earned money and this is what you have to offer. As the business owner you should have tried to rectify the situation. But if you act in such a manner, I see why your workers do too. Have an amazing day and continue for the next 22 years in your shop getting over on people."
