"Would give 0 stars if the option was available. Wife had a hysterectomy, got out of surgery at 11:00. At 6:00, we still don’t have a room. Recovery nurses have tried extremely hard to get a room available. 7 hours in the same robe that we used for surgery, and gurney is completely unacceptable. I feel horrible for the poor recovery nurses. We will never use Springhill again. Highly recommend using Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, we never had any issues like this. Extremely unacceptable to treat a patient like this. Then we get in our room at 6:25 and we’re told it’s too late to get her any food, all orders must be in by 6:30. Guess I’ll go to Publix’s and get her some soup."

"Honestly I Really liked this emergency room until the experience I had today. Very Arrogant and rude staff in the emergency room. No empathy for my pain or understanding even as a patient point of view. I literally could hear them talking about me from behind the curtain. Some nurses do not have a passion for the field and it really showed tonight. I was treated so poorly and badly that I was in complete shock. Especially coming in after my 12 hour shift as a first responder to be treated so piss poor really opened my eyes to who’s at the hands of our health as a civilian point of view. Medical Staff would not give me any names. I asked to speak to the Dr and I was told by a nurse that they had other patients to see. In an empty emergency room. I was really let down tonight totally disappointed. I do not recommend this emergency room period. Negative 5 stars."

"The emergency room although the doctors and nurses were courteous and nice they didn’t seem to know very much about what was going on with my husband. My husband stayed in the emergency room for two days and he still didn’t know anything about what’s going on with this bag and stomach, the emergency room was filthy. The restrooms were filthy. They admitted him to a room once arriving at the room, it was filthy. The floors had some kind of dark matter on it dirty towels in the bathroom there wasn’t any clean sheets available. We asked for some Kleenex they brought us a roll of toilet paper. Four days later still don’t know what’s going on with my husband. He was at home trying to follow up with other doctors."

"Its really a NEGATIVE FIVE .. .. IF YOUR African American decent go Somewhere else . NO MATTER what your feeling . I never go to the hospital until its severe . The nurses were okay but bedside matters is terrible NO EMPATHY FOR NOTHING. O ASK FOR A BLANKET I WAS SHIVERING SO BAD I WAS ABOUT TO GO IN TO SHOCK . PLUS THEY DENIED ME OF BLOOD work due to them discharge me. I ask to speak Manger of my options because I was feeling worse . Then a nurse tried to escort me out when I wasn't aggressive I NEEDED HELP CAUSE MY SON WAS SICK TOO AND I COULD'VE GET WELL TO TAKE CARE OF BOTH OF US. P.S. between 3pm to 344pm whosoever was in the Nurses Station everyone of them was no compassion of my sickness. However Morgan and Justin was helpful"

"I had heart surgery and bypass from the time I entered until I left, I was well taken care of. Doctors, nurses, staff were so friendly and helpful they were checking on me all the time. I am in the cancer center now, radiation treatments 5 days a week. The most efficient and friendly staff you will ever have."
