Ricky's Nail Art

"Used to be my go to, last time I went they sat me with a lady instead of my usual artist. She was rude from the start. I asked her a few times during gluing the tips down and shaping to fix a few things because they were crooked and mis shaped and she actually told me no and asked me if it was my first time there and I said no, I come here often, I send my friends here, i send girls from my work here, I have spent collectively thousands here. She dismissed it and continued. Long story short by the end my nails were nothing like I asked them to be, in shape, or color, I asked for silver and she applied black and some kind of iridescent powder that made them green/purple and was very rude when I told her that was not silver/chrome whatever you want to call it, I showed a picture of, and to remove it. When we got to check out she tried asking 75. I said I come here all the time, short sets like this with just French tips and gel polish are never over 55. I said based off of that and the fact they are not at all like I asked and I did ask you to fix them during the process and you didn’t, I am not paying 75$. They have raised prices Everytime I’ve come in for the last few months for starters. I received a service in happy to pay you 45$ for which is listed as how much a short set costs, but I am not paying 75$ for very short and messed up nails. Another worker rudely offered for me to pay the 75 and he would fix them another day, but how rude they both were was extremely disappointing so I declined and said I would like to pay 45 for the service plus a tip and leave. He told me if I wasn’t paying to leave and not come back. And so I won’t, and neither will the customers I referred to here."

"Ricky’s used to be my go-to nail salon. I’ve never gotten anything different; never changed my nail shape; always got a solid color. For the last 3 months, every time I go to pay the price is different than the last time. For some reason I also haven’t been totally impressed by the product of the dip nail service I receive but I’ve been extra frustrated about the change in price. Again, I don’t ever change anything. My nails aren’t long and I only get dip nails with a solid color. It’s always, always changing prices. Finally, the last time I went in I asked about this and my nail tech couldn’t give me a reason why, instead wanted to change the price that I’m used to after I asked. I asked for a pricing guide and they also couldn’t provide that to me. I unfortunately will not go again because the uptick in price every time I go when nothing changes - is a little sketchy."

"Ricky is amazing as is EVERYONE in the salon! I highly recommend Kenny for any littler that want their nails done! My 5 year old little girl always requests designs and of course her nail is small, yet Kenny always makes it happen! Worth the drive, but make an appointment!"

"I hate to even give 1 star but have to in order to share my experience. My service for dip was refused because the tech said my natural nails were too long and it would take too long!!! I have never been told my nails were too long for dip! They did not refuse my service until they started removing my dip- or else I would have left then!!! The nail tech rudely said to me You’re not the professional! I had to let him know I am a professional and OWN MY OWN salon. Just rude and I will never be back. This picture shows how he just drilled the hell out of my nail and did not believe me when I said they were my natural nails! Just awful"
