"I go to great clips a lot. I understand that it isn't a high end salon. Usually, however, i get really good service there. This time was different. The stylist didn't wash any of her tools from the previous 2 customers. There was hair all over everything. She didn't sweep the floor. It was nasty. Also, she didn't really give me a good cut. I guess she technically did what i requested, but she didn't balance it right, given the shape of my face and head. I'll go back, but not to her."

Despite instruction and a likeness, I got the same cut I assume they give every person they eyeball as a 17-year-old boy (yours truly). This happens consistently at Great Clips, and I'm embarrassed that I've skimped on real salons. I give up. Thanks, Great Clips. This would not be a problem. What I've never experienced: I've never had a service worker stand over me as I filled out a tip — as is described in another review. Exact same description — talking down and instructing me about . . . an every day card reader. I was in disbelief as this happened. There are multiple reviews about this . . . the only reasonable explanation I can think of is unpleasant."

"We’re customers since 2017. My sons always do their hair in Great Clips and the hairdressers are always great except for last time, which was three days ago. My daughter took my son to the salon and the hairdresser (B) was rough on him when she was doing his hair. He was in pain and his sister told her that she was hurting him but she didn’t say anything. When she finished, she charged them $15 and my son told her that he is 10 years and he should be charged $12 as always. He said that three times to her but she insisted that $12 is for whoever under 10 years! Also when my daughter was paying, the hairdresser (B) came next to my daughter to tell her what to do, and she was looking with her onto the screen saying “fill this out for me” which made my daughter embarrassed and tipped her $5. We’re very disappointed, especially that I called the salon to claim this and when I asked about the manager to tell her what happened, I was told that the manager was outside and she was the one who did my son’s hair. I was shocked! I have been told that I will get a call back to solve that, but this never happened! Update: Problem never solved by customer service or anyone else! I contacted customer service multiple times and each time they told me I will receive a call to solve the matter but never happened!"
