"My rating is zero stars!!! Service: 0 stars Cleanliness: 0 stars Front Check-in: 4 stars Nurses: 0 stars people coming in being tested for COVID and Flu, they are not even given them mask or whipping down the equipment they are using to check their vitals. This place is so unsanitary!!! Was ask my pain levels for the first time after I sit in the hallway for 3hrs. ER Doctor : 4 stars The wait time is unacceptable, I understand that people may be seen based on injury/illness but this place has no organization or management! It seems like their main goal is to stuff as many people back there, in chairs all in the hallway! They do this because it's about quantity not the quality of service that they can provide. I sat in the hallway for over 4hrs. I would have never been taken for X-ray had I not ask, 2hrs after being sit in the hallway. I would have never been seen by the doctor had I not ask, the doctor treated me in the hallway..where is my privacy? I was given a shot in the blanket closet that was next to the chair I was sitting in. I did notice that if the nurses knew you, they put you in a room and you were in and out....that must be the ones leaving 5 star reviews. I'm a veteran that received better emergency room service in Iraq a foreign country! Hardin Medical Center, you need to do better....have some pride about yourselves!"
"My sister went into the ER on 1/8 with elevated BP-stroke level and stroke symptoms. She was there for over six hours and her BP was only checked once. They never did a Neuro check and did not even do a vitals check upon discharge. They also would not allow my mother to go back to be either her. I can understand being busy, but the complete lack of care is infuriating. I just don’t understand how you discharge someone without checking vitals when they came in for elevated BP and stroke symptoms. It’s borderline negligent if you ask me. I would never and will never take any family member to this poor excuse of a hospital. Get a staff that is competent and knows what they are doing or someone is going to die and the blood will be on their hands!!!!"
"My daughter , this past Saturday, went to the Emergency Department due to elevated blood pressure- stroke level and also with stroke symptoms- numbness in face, arm, and leg. She never received a stroke exam- no neurological exam, BP upon arrival but never repeated during our 6 hour visit. Then they sent her home with no blood pressure medication. I am a nurse and have worked in the emergency department , not here, and this was appalling to me. I was not allowed back with her for a long time so I did not realize the lack of care she received. We will never return there again."
"If I could rate zero stars I would. My husband went yesterday (1/8/24) with two of his fingertips cut off from an accident at work. After 3 hours of waiting and nobody had even looked at his hand he asked someone if someone would be able to help him soon. The man he asked in ER whom I am not sure if he was a nurse or an orderly said well right now the doctor is shoving a tube into a dead woman! He signed himself out and we drove to Florence. Top quality care at ECM!"
"My mom and I took my brother here the night of 11-20-23. My brother had his tonsils out a week ago exactly and he was bleeding profusely from his mouth. We got into the car and started our way here and he began vomiting blood. A very large and concerning amount. On the way I called 911 and dispatch let them know we were on our way and about 2 minutes from the hospital. We pull up to the ER doors and we get him in, he's visibly covered in blood, with blood coming out of his mouth and nose, my mother covered in blood, and her friend that was in the back seat with him. The desk lady was very slow about getting him in the back and kept asking who his doctor was and why he is here. She never alerted anyone about him until my very distraught mother answered her questions and signed some papers. I understand this is protocol but you don't need all of that info right then. This place has really went down hill. The only reason we took him here, was because we wouldn't have made it to Jackson."
