"Dr. Chase is the worst doctor anyone in my family has ever come across. I have talked to many other people who have horror stories about him too. I would give him 0 starts if I could. My grandmother was admitted for pneumonia and sepsis. They gave her way too much fluids, she was so swollen. Even the nurses were saying she should not have that much fluid. One turned it off and Dr. Chase told her to turn it back on. Then he got mad because she would not let him wash her lungs out. He washed her sisters lungs out years before this and that is what started all of her lung problems. She was admitted Wednesday and then sent home Monday the next week. Two days later we were having to call the ambulance to come get her because she was so weak she could hardly move and she was wheezing and coughing badly and she was lethargic. Her two daughters went to the ER with her. Dr. Chase comes in the room and says, “If y’all would have just let me wash her lungs out this wouldn’t have happened!” He kept on at them like this and then leans down in my grandmothers face talking to her and she was not even conscious. She ended up having fluid in her lungs and around her heart. He fussed back and forth with her daughters and told them that they would have to make up their minds if they wanted him to do something or not. He said do y’all want her on hospice and just made comfortable or do you want me to treat her? One of her daughters said we’re gonna have to talk about this to which he responded no you don’t. There is no time. Then he goes on a rant about they don’t trust him. One of her daughters said well part of it is the way you talk to people. (Not the first run in they’ve had with him. He took care of their dad years ago and treated him badly as well.) He says that’s it! Storms out of the room and yells at the nurse to transfer her out of here now! Then they put her on a bipap and gave her Ativan which you are not supposed to give to elderly people! She has been out of it for hours now! He should be ashamed of himself for making a bad situation worse. He should not be a doctor!"

"I had surgery at Baptist hospital for the first time. It was such a great experience. I received warm welcome from the staff and nurse staff took care of me before and after surgery. Plenty of parking and admission process was quick and no waiting period."

"They helped save my husband's life. They took a CT scan of his brain and found a large tumor. They transfered him by ambulance to Vanderbilt hospital. If they hadn't done that he'd be dead. I appreciate how they handled the whole situation. They were outstanding!"
