"Don't go here...I came in for a new fullset and the guy says just get a fill in with my black powder dip nails so I pick a dark purple color explaining to the lady I need a similar color in powder.. she proceeds to cut my nails almost completely off not trim...grinds my nails down takes clear powder to fill in and GEL POLISH to PAINT THEM I'm like lady what are you doing??? Needless to say it's been a little over 24 hrs and 3 nails are already pealing because YOU CANT PUT GEL POLISH ON DIP POWDER she knew that but proceeded to not listen and play crazy and blame it on a language barrier...no language barrier dictates you putting GEL polish on dip nails I will never come back herei literally had to tell her lady I pay you to do your job not tell you how to do it and you basically robbed me smh"

"AVOID THIS SALON! USED A GLOW IN THE DARK PRODUCT AND THEN VICIOUSLY CUT AND CRACKED MY NAILS WHEN I WENT IN.  Terrible service. I went in for a natural ombré dip.  Throughout I kept stressing NATURAL.  First they started with a pink that had glitter in it.  I stopped them and again stressed natural, stating that I didn’t want anything glitzy.  They seemed to have a problem finding a powder that would give the subtle look I was wanting.  They finally brought one out and said, “This should work.”   I looked over and saw it said nude on top of the jar (not looking at the finer print.  My nails turned out just okay.  The real problem came that night when I got into bed…. MY NAILS WERE GLOWING IN THE DARK!   I WAS SHOCKED!!   I had taken a picture of the dip powders they used should I want the same thing again.   Sure enough when looking at the finer print in the picture it said “Glow in the Dark Collection.”  When I called Tony, he said yes he knew he was using a glow in the dark product.  WHY, when I stressed subtle/natural over and over would he think it was okay to use a glow in the dark product on a conservative, middle aged woman and not tell me he was doing so?   He said that he was limited on did options… how does a salon not have a nude or clear powder? The problem escalated though.  When I went in to talk them he offered to file it off and redo them.  My question was, how can you redo it today when you didn’t have the proper product to do it yesterday?  He didn’t say he had anything better so I asked for a refund.  I was told that in order to give me a refund he would have to, “Cut my nails.”   And boy did he cut them.  So fast that it hurt and left them jagged and cracked.  No filing or evening it out.  I am attaching pictures. This was the most unprofessional salon and this man showed anger towards me over HIS mistake.  I felt his objective in letting me walk out of the salon in this condition was to humiliate me. The salon I went to after to fix what Magic Nail Salon had done had the entire staff come around.  They were shocked he would just cut my nails in such a savage way. AVOID.  AVOID.  AVOID"

"Their prices are utterly RIDICULOUS!!! They are the ONLY nail shop that charge 35 dollars EXTRA for a DESIGN ONLY! There is no way a pedicure and a full set with only two nails designed should cost 150.00 dollars!! They are price gouging!! And they really get over on young ladies with their prices!! Pay attention!! Their work is no better than any other nail shop in this city so WHY are their prices this high??? I will NEVER EVER RETURN. They getting over!! Especially in our black community!! AND THE MANAGER TONY IS RUDE AND SARCASTIC!"

"I always ask for Tony. I always know my nails will be perfect. It's a very busy nail salon. You might call first to see how busy they are. No appointments. Went for 4th of July nails this time."
